We are thrilled to share with you that Lisette Provencher, senior vice president, operations support, has been elected to serve on the Board of Governors of the World Water Council, an international multi-stakeholder platform with a presence in more than 70 countries.
Lisette Provencher is one of 36 governors, drawn from 13 countries and six international and intergovernmental organizations. She was elected by majority vote from among 64 candidates and will serve until 2015. Lisette Provencher brings more than 30 years of global industry experience to the World Water Council. She succeeds Patrick Cairo, senior vice president, corporate development, of United Water, who also served on the Board of Governors for six years.
In response to the nomination our CEO, Bertrand Camus, said: “We are honored with this responsibility again. Ms. Provencher has keen technical knowledge and a true global perspective necessary to be an effective member of the World Water Council.”
